Sheena Thakrar joined the firm in October 2007 and concentrates her practice in the area of commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Thakrar focused her practice on admiralty, products liability, and class action litigation.

Ms. Thakrar was born and raised in London, England before moving to the United States in 1995. She earned her B.A., cum laude, in English and Criminology from the University of Florida in 2001. She received her J.D., cum laude, in 2004 from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law.

While in law school, Ms. Thakrar was awarded honors in legal research and writing, and appellate advocacy. Ms. Thakrar was the Senior Notes Editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy in 2003. In 2004, Ms. Thakrar received the Journal of Law and Public Policy academic excellence award. While attending law school, Ms. Thakrar was a certified legal intern with the Public Defender's Office of the Eighth Judicial Circuit in Gainesville, Florida.

Ms. Thakrar is a member of the Florida Bar. She is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and all Florida state courts.
