JOHN B. DORRIS - BANKRUPTCY ASSOCIATE
John is an associate in the Bankruptcy department, joining the team in August 2010. Mr. Dorris practices primarily in the area of corporate bankruptcy and creditor's rights.
Mr. Dorris graduated cum laude from Florida State University College of Law in 2009. In 1992, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University. He earned a Master's Degree in political science from Central Michigan University. He completed his graduate studies at the University of Houston earning a Doctorate in political science.
Before attending law school, Mr. Dorris worked for a GLBT non-profit health organization in Houston, TX. After law school Mr. Dorris taught legal studies at a local private university in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Dorris was admitted to practice law in Florida in 2011. John is a Florida Supreme Court certified Family Mediator. John is also certified as a program mediator for the Florida Bar Grievance Mediation and Fee Arbitration Program.
